Engines
With the choice of two dynamic engines, the new Ford Mustang is able to satisfy even the most power-hungry of drivers. The 4.0L SOHC V6 – features electronic throttle control and vibration-reducing liquid-filled engine mounts. This stallion has 210 horsepower and a hefty 240 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mustang comes with a standard 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 5-speed automatic. The Mustang GT offers the awe-inspiring 4.6L SOHC V8 with three-valve-per-cylinder architecture and variable camshaft timing. The end result of this advanced engine technology is 300 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque – one of the most powerful regular-production Mustang V8s in history. The GT also features the optional 5-speed automatic, as well as the standard 5-speed manual linked to a higher rear axle ratio for more spirited driving. |

Interior
The available Interior Upgrade Package features segment-exclusive MyColor™ gauges with Message Centre, aluminum touches on the instrument panel, door handles, register rings, dark charcoal door panel inserts and door sill scuff plates, which includes “Mustang” lettering insert. New Ambient Lighting raises the fun factor. This special effect adds an arresting LED glow to the front cupholders and all 4 footwells - change out 7 different colors. To complete the Package, this Mustang sports a leather-wrapped steering wheel with satin aluminum spokes and a bright sport shift knob (manual) or aluminum-plated shifter (automatic). |

Tunes
The available Shaker 500 Audio System offers an in-dash, 6-disc CD/MP3 player, two 250-Watt subwoofers in the front doors and 500 Watts of pure sonic power*. For more sound -thumping power there is the available Shaker 1000 Audio System**. It cranks out the tunes with two 500-Watt subwoofers in the trunk and 1000 Watts of power.

The Personal Safety System™ standard on every Mustang, utilizes a network of sensors to assess a number of factors including whether the front passenger seat is occupied or not, the position of the driver's seat and severity of the impact to determine the level of deployment of the dual stage front air bags and front-seat side air bags*.
