Ford introduced the first SUV in 1966, blazing a trail to the great outdoors that would be followed by generations of people And now, Bronco is back, armed with thrilling power and go-anywhere capability, uniquely suited to transport true adventure seekers deep into the wild and untamed places their souls crave to be.
The only domestic SUV brand that comes standard with 4×4 on all models. Built Wild for exhilarating off-road adventures and with the confidence to take you deep into the extremes of outdoor adventure. The Bronco Brand will include three all-new rugged models: the all-new Bronco 2-door, the first-ever Bronco 4-door, and the Bronco Sport, a small but tough SUV.
The Ford Bronco returns as the halo of the Built Wild family of all-new 4×4 vehicles, with two model variants: a heritage-true 2-door and the first-ever 4-door. With a quick-release roof and doors that easily pop off, you can enjoy the thrill of the open-air experience. These models also have a tough body-on-frame architecture, powerful EcoBoost® engines that are quick on the trails, segment-first 35″ off-road tires, front and rear locking differentials, and an available stabilizer bar disconnect.
With an available maximum departure angle of 37.2 degrees and a best-in-class 9.00-degree breakover angle, Bronco can handle the sharp drops and steep inclines of rugged off-road terrain.
With a best-in-class ground clearance of 11.6″ on the 2-door model and 11.5″ on the 4-door when equipped with available 35″ tires, you’ll be able to avoid sharp rocks, fallen branches, and other obstacles. A vehicle with a high ground clearance can also help you avoid scraping the bottom of your vehicle while navigating trails.
The Bronco SUV has an available best-in-class water fording capability of 33.5 inches when equipped with the Sasquatch package, thanks to a high-mounted air intake and available best-in-class ground clearance. Trims without the Sasquatch package, such as the Outer Banks, achieve a very capable 31.5 inches.
The instrument panel was inspired by the first-generation model, with gauges and controls that are both visible and intuitive.
Because excitement always draws a crowd, the Bronco 4-door has plenty of room for passengers, with seating options for every adventure. Seating options include leather-trimmed, durable cloth, and marine-grade vinyl.
Adventure is a dirty business. That’s why the Bronco SUV is available with rubberized, washable floors with integrated drains and marine-grade vinyl seating.
The Bronco comes with several roof options, including a removable hardtop system with multiple panels that can be easily popped in and out. Furthermore, thanks to its unique design with no crossbar between the front and back rows, the Bronco provides best-in-class 2nd-row and overall openness with the top removed. The sport tube crossbar has also been relocated behind the second row to provide any rear-seat passengers with an unobstructed open-air experience.
These switches, which are conveniently located for easy access, allow you to maintain control of your off-road adventure. Depending on the Bronco series, you can engage up to six standard and available features, such as sway bar disconnect and front and rear differential lock, with the simple push of a button.
