At Discovery Group of Companies (Discovery Ford Sales Ltd., Discovery Edge Collision & Glass, and Discovery Towing) we take great pride in being more than just a car dealership. For over three decades, we have been an integral part of the Humboldt community, supporting local causes and giving back in meaningful ways. From cash donations to sponsorships, we have made it our mission to help and benefit our community in every way we can. Our commitment to Humboldt and the surrounding areas has resulted in hundres of thousands of dollars donated to various charitable initiatives, making a positive impact on the lives of many.

Community Support Initiatives

When it comes to supporting our community, there is no limit to what we’re willing to do. Over the years, we have sponsored numerous great causes, ranging from local sports teams to fundraising events. Whether it’s providing cash donations, donating hockey jerseys, or offering raffle items, our goal is always to assist organizations that make a difference in Humboldt. We firmly believe in the power of community, and by supporting these causes, we contribute to the growth and well-being of our town.

Battle of the Bulls: Our Biggest Fundraiser Yet

In June 2023, we proudly hosted our most significant fundraiser to date: Battle of the Bulls. This special event was organized in celebration of our 30 years in business and served as a way for us to give back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. Teaming up with PBR Canada, we presented Humboldt with an unforgettable evening of bull riding and entertainment.

However, Battle of the Bulls was much more than just an exhilarating event. We actively involved local charities in its organization, giving them an opportunity to participate and raise funds for their valuable work. Through partnerships with these charities, we ensured that the event benefited the entire community, bringing people together for a common cause.

The Result: Over $100,000 Raised for Local Organizations

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, Battle of the Bulls was an incredible success. The event raised over $100,000, a testament to the generosity and spirit of Humboldt. These funds will directly benefit local organizations, enabling them to continue their essential work and positively impact the lives of individuals and families in our community.

Community Investments

As part of our commitment to making a lasting impact, we went beyond fundraising and purchased bleachers for Battle of the Bulls. These bleachers, a significant investment, will be donated back to the community, benefiting local events and gatherings. By providing infrastructure that can be used by various organizations, we strive to improve the community’s overall experience and make it a better place for everyone.
